![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You will see a list of releases below, but if you haven’t set up any specific versions to play, you might only see the most recent version. Select Installations from the tabs at the top.Open the Minecraft Launcher and select the version you want to play (either Bedrock or Java). The original, default Minecraft launcher has changed over the years, but you can still allocate more RAM to what Minecraft uses. Method One: Allocate RAM From The Default Launcher Now you can allocate all the RAM Minecraft needs to quench its thirst. If you have more than that, you’re golden. In the Java Application Runtime Setting box, click View.Minecraft calls for a minimum of 2 GB of RAM, although the recommended specs call for 4 GB. Select Control Panel (or Settings > Control Panel) from the Start menu. To confirm that you have that installed version of java working, do these steps: Click Start on the task bar. I don't know about any of the other systems, my family mainly uses windows computers. Google search "Java 圆4" and select a 圆4 java install made for your pc. If you do not see any 圆4 java versions installed, install them. Next, go to Computer > Local Disc(C:) > Program Files (NOT x86!!) > Java > (Select the latest java 64x you've installed, mine is jre7) > bin > java.exe To find out what you need to enter, first confirm you are using a 64 bit computer. If your executable is pointing to 32 bit java, then it will not allow nore that 1G of ram. Notice how the Program Files are different. It should say C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe Instead of something like C:\Program Files(x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe. Make sure, if you're using a 圆4 operating system that your java executable option is set to use 圆4 java, and not x86 java. ![]()
